Where are you located?
Monarc Studio is a private studio located in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles focusing one on one with long-term collectors. The atmosphere of the space emphasizes the individual and is not a walk-in shop. Once your tattoo Inquiry is approved, you will be have Members access that will allow you to secure your Project and further details.
How can I get approved for the waiting list?
Each Inquiry is carefully considered based on those who share the same values of the Studio, understand the process and are committed to a long term collection. If you have submitted and are not approved there is always the possibility to book in the future and you are welcome to resubmit. However due to the amount of inquiries we receive, not all projects are selected.

Once your Project has been approved you will be granted access to the Members portal where you can book, manage and prepare for your Tattoo. Then we will follow up with further details on logistics and more information.

No we do not sell designs. Due to the hands-on nature of each project, the designs that are created are a part of a collaborative process relative to each individual client.
Is there any way I can get my appointment sooner?
Priority booking is only available for committed long term Members. For all new clients we do not swap sessions because each project requires a different time frame relative to existing Members.
When will I see the lay-out of the tattoo design?
Tattooing is a fluid collaborative process that is balanced in three phase structure that can only be determined after the initial planning phase.
How long is a normal tattoo session?
Sessions can average 9 to 12 hours including breaks, depending on the scale of design, skin, tolerance and other factors. Once your Project is approved, you will receive a full detailed breakdown in our Members portal.
